My husband and I have had a a bread-battle going on. His mother made home made bread every week, cinnamon rolls and rolls. I had tried so many recipes and usually my bread looked like a brick and tasted like one. I felt I'd never be able to compete with his mother. Well, thanks to my Pantry Secret classes, I have conquered the art of bread making in one hour! It looks amazing, is easy to work with and tastes awesome every time. I just finished making my fourth batch and my children have contented bellies, my husband is pleased as can be that I have decided not to be resentful, but that I now create home made bread that reminds him of home, his mother (who is now quite ill) and his childhood. My mother also used to make the best home made rolls and passed away last year. I don't have her recipe but my son asked me tonight if I learned how to make these awesome rolls from my mother. The art of bread making is an amazing tradition to pass on and now I can give this experience to my children. Thanks to Pantry Secrets, the battle is finally over! FABULOUS and inspiring class! I made the recipe last night for my family - they are in LOVE!! I made 3 of the fluffiest, most moist loaves of bread - and a dozen buns for Sloppy Joes for our dinner (all in just 1 hour). YUM!! Can't wait for your Wheat Bread class next week.
